What sets the Holley water/methanol system apart, propelling it light years ahead of competitors, is the ECU's meticulous characterization of solenoid flow. By programming the exact flow amount into the software, the system delivers that precise flow into the engine. This level of control is vital to prevent both insufficient injection (posing a risk of engine damage) and excessive injection (resulting in a significant power loss) of the water/methanol mix. Choose the specific percentage of water/methanol mix to be delivered relative to the percentage of fuel flow at any RPM and load, streamlining the tuning process for simplicity and accuracy.
All components are meticulously designed to be compatible with water/methanol mixes of up to 50% methanol. The Water/Meth solenoids are operated by an injector driver output. In scenarios where an additional output is unavailable, such as with an HP ECU driving 8 injectors, PN 554-115 can be acquired to be driven by a low side PWM output.
