The Traxxas® Mini Slash® and Rally VXL Aluminum GTR Short Shocks are an optional suspension upgrade designed for the Traxxas Mini Slash and Rally VXL platforms. Engineered to improve handling and durability, this set of four shocks provides enhanced damping performance for small scale vehicles running on rough terrain. Each shock arrives pre-assembled without shock springs and includes silicone oil, allowing for a straightforward installation and quick upgrade to a more refined suspension system.

About the Aluminum GTR Short Shocks

These aluminum GTR short shocks feature brilliantly anodized aluminum bodies coated with PTFE to create exceptionally smooth damping action. The large bore design allows the shocks to hold more oil than standard units, helping maintain consistent suspension performance even over challenging surfaces. Titanium-nitride coated shafts resist scuffing and reduce stiction for smoother movement and improved durability. X-rings help keep oil contained while preventing dirt from entering the shock body. Threaded spring collars allow quick spring preload and ride height adjustments, while locking screws on the lower spring retainers help prevent the springs from popping off during demanding runs.
