DEFENDER SiO2 Protectant is an ideal product for both professionals and enthusiasts, serving as a topcoat or maintenance treatment for Inspiration Coatings and other coatings. It also works effectively as a standalone SiO2 Protectant. Easy to apply in various environments, Defender SiO2 Protectant (DSP) delivers remarkable gloss, slickness, and durable protection. While primarily designed for painted surfaces, it can also be applied to metal, glass, and trim.
Directions: If using as a coating topper, ensure the coating has had sufficient time to set up, typically recommended for a minimum of 1 hour. Always apply to a cool surface when possible and avoid direct sunlight. Defender can be applied directly to the paint surface or sprayed onto a microfiber towel for wipe-on application. Once applied, spread evenly for uniform coverage in a 3’ x 3’ area, allow a brief moment to set, flip the microfiber towel, and wipe to a bright finish. Repeat the process over the entire vehicle.
