The MSD 6014 LS Ignition controller is designed to seamlessly work with both 24x/1x and 58x/4x crank/cam configurations. Its innovative auto-detection feature identifies the correct configuration based on the reluctor wheel pattern, eliminating the need for manual selection. The controller offers six pre-programmed (non-editable) timing tables for stock engines, along with three customizable 3-D tables and one customizable timing plot. Switching between these tables/plots is effortless using the rotary dial, and customization can be done through the MSDView software.
Featuring a built-in 2.5 Bar MAP sensor, the LS Ignition controller is suitable for naturally aspirated or boosted applications, allowing for precise timing adjustments based on intake manifold pressure. Additionally, it incorporates 8MB of internal data logging, enabling users to set up, record, and review performance data at the track.
