Edelbrock part #7118 Performer RPM LS1 intake manifold, complete with a timing control module, is engineered for the renowned Chevrolet LS1 (5.7L) small-block V8, originally featured in 1997 and later Corvettes, as well as 1998-02 Camaros and Firebirds. This manifold also fits the Corvette LS6 engine and other Gen III engines, including the LM7 (5.3L), LR4 (4.8L), and LQ4 (6.0L). Enabling the use of a carburetor on these initially computer-controlled engines, it delivers maximum power and a wide torque curve spanning from 1500 to 6500 rpm. The intake manifold package includes a wiring harness and electronic Timing Control Module, manufactured by MSD. This ignition module, tailored for LS1 (24x / 58x) ignitions, collaborates with OE sensors to ignite the Coil-on-Plug ignition system and provides a selection of six timing curves. To facilitate the seamless integration of the LS1 engine into muscle cars, street rods, or marine applications, a specialized throttle and trans bracket compatible with 700R-4, 200R-4, and Turbo 350 transmissions is included.
