Introducing the B&M® Transpak, a progressive upgrade from the B&M Shift Improver kit, offering all the features of the Shift Improver kit while providing additional manual control for GM TH-400, TH-350, Ford C-6, and Chrysler Torqueflite transmissions. The B&M® Transpak™ kit is specifically designed for 1982-1993 GM TH700R4/4L60 automatic transmissions.
Stock automatic transmissions often lack the ability to downshift into low gear above 15 mph and tend to automatically upshift at predetermined speeds, regardless of the gear. The Transpak changes this dynamic, allowing downshifting at any speed and the ability to hold the transmission in first gear at any desired speed. This is particularly beneficial for modified engines, providing extra RPMs, as well as for towing trailers or managing heavy loads downhill.
Stages:

Stage 1 - Heavy Duty: Suitable for street rods, regular passenger vehicles, or heavy-duty use. Offers a firmer shift feel without harshness, significantly improving transmission performance and lifespan without sacrificing comfort. Functions in normal automatic operation when in Drive.

Stage 2: Tailored for high-performance street use. Similar to Heavy Duty mode but with quicker shifts. Retains full automatic features and standard shift points when the selector is in Drive. Note: Not compatible with GM 4L60E electronic transmissions.
