In 2003, Ford introduced a specialized fuel tank for the 2003 and 2004 Mustang Cobras. Although it appeared ordinary on the outside, it boasted one of the most advanced internal baffling systems ever seen in an OEM tank. However, by late 2011, Ford discontinued production of these tanks. At Aeromotive, we recognized an opportunity to recreate these tanks. Our ambition went even further; we adapted the tooling during production to make this tank suitable for all Fox Body Mustangs. This led us to develop specific A1000 and Eliminator Fuel Pumps that seamlessly fit into these tanks. Subsequently, we assembled a comprehensive system that offers everything you need for a complete Aeromotive Fuel System installation in your Fox Body.
The Fox Body Stealth tanks blend the benefits of optimal performance with the appearance of a stock tank. They feature an innovative baffling system, an integrated fuel pump capable of meeting substantial horsepower demands, and a pre-pump filter. This product may not be compliant for sale or use in emission-controlled vehicles unless it's utilized as a direct replacement part matching OEM specifications.
These tanks and systems are engineered for direct bolt-in installation for 1986 to 1998 ½ Ford Mustangs. While the Fox Body production spanned from 1979 through 2004, certain modifications are required for these systems to be a direct bolt-in. Please consult the notes below for specific year specifications.

For 1979 to 1985 Mustangs, you must utilize a 1986 or later leveling unit and an aftermarket fuel level gauge (73-10 Ohm).
