Upgrade the steering performance of your 1967-72 Chevy C10 with this Power Rack and Pinion Kit, designed specifically for models with disc brakes. Utilizing a traditional rear steer rack and pinion, this kit offers modern precision and responsiveness while maintaining the classic feel of your C10. The rack mounts securely to a one-piece bracket that bolts directly to the outside of either frame rail, using the same holes as the original steering box and idler arms for a straightforward installation.

This kit is designed for rear-wheel-drive vehicles only and has been successfully installed on V-8 engines, with adequate space for a 6-cylinder engine. While there is generally ample room for the shaft support, certain headers may require modification to ensure proper fitment. Additionally, a two-groove pulley on your water pump is necessary for this kit.

For those using drum brake spindles, the kit 8011900-01 is recommended.
