It serves as the main structural mounting point for the rear suspension and wing mount, absorbing the massive impacts of 6S stunt bashing.

Installation Advice
Check Your Standoffs: When replacing a shock tower, it is usually because the old one bent in a crash.

Inspect Hardware: If the tower bent, there is a high chance your Shock Standoffs (the posts the shocks screw onto) are also bent. Installing straight standoffs on a new tower is critical; otherwise, you will strip the threads of this new aluminum part.

Threadlock: Since you are screwing metal bolts into a metal tower, you must use Blue Loctite (Threadlocker) on all mounting screws (bulkhead screws and shock mounts). Without it, the vibrations of the 6S system will rattle the screws loose in minutes.
Tech Tip: The "Stealth" Build: If you are buying this part (9538A), look for the matching Gray Front Shock Tower (9539A) and Gray Wheel Hubs (9556A) to complete the monochrome "Stealth Sledge" look.
