In high-performance racing scenarios, there are concerns regarding the ability of the TH-350 and Powerglide factory filters to draw sufficient fluid under high RPM conditions. To guarantee a consistent and proper fluid supply at all times, TCI have developed an adapter kit designed to install a high-flow Chrysler Torqueflite filter in both of these applications. This kit must be used in conjunction with a cast aluminum deep pan. It comprises one filter, a filter gasket, oil pan gasket, and a filter adapter with mounting hardware.
