The DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL coil springs offer the perfect blend of on-road comfort and off-road capability.
In this innovative design, the 1st spring rate provides an outstanding highway ride, and the coils expand during extreme off-road articulation as the suspension droops, ensuring prolonged contact between the tires and the ground. This feature, unique to dual-rate systems, results in a smoother and more controlled ride while keeping the coil securely in the coil bucket at full droop. The 2nd rate, represented by the lower coils, engages only after compression past the 1st rate. This secondary rate ensures consistent control and stability during intense off-road suspension movement.
The 3.5-4 in. Lift Systems are equipped with essential components, including both Front & Rear Extended sway bar end links crucial for proper droop and long travel. Front & Rear bump stop extensions are included to ensure adequate suspension clearance at full bump. The Front Adjustable Track Bar, requiring no pitman arm, maintains proper steering geometry and axle centering. Additionally, front & rear Eccentric Cam D-bolt alignment kits are provided for caster correction, and a Rear Upper frame-mounted Track Bar Relocation bracket, accompanied by Grade 8 mounting hardware, contributes to the overall system integrity.
