The Schroth Latchlink II presents a certified and versatile safety solution, offering 2" lap belts with customizable lap belt adjuster styles, shoulder, and sub-strap configurations, all meeting the SFI 16.1 certification.
In comparison to 3" lap belts, the 2" latchlink lap belt, akin to Schroth's camlock belts, provides enhanced safety and comfort. The 2" lap belt ensures a snug and comfortable fit around the pelvis, promoting safety. The Latchlink II is highly recommended across various applications and race series. The lap belts are available in pull-up, pull-down, and non-adjustable versions for both left and right sides, allowing racers to tailor their belts to specific preferences.
The 2" Latchlink lap belts seamlessly integrate with 2" or 3" shoulder belts, as well as the Over/Under double shoulder belt. The 2" shoulder belt is suitable for drivers using a HANS or similar Forward Head Restraint, while the 3" shoulders accommodate drivers with or without such devices. For optimal comfort and safety, the over/under double shoulder belt combines a 3" belt for body retention and a 2" upper belt for HANS device retention in case of an accident.
The Latchlink II offers three sub-strap configurations, including the 6-point V style, a non-adjustable single sub-strap, or an in-line adjustable single sub-strap, catering to individual driver preferences. Wrap-in hardware is provided for all points on the Latchlink II belt, with the option to separately purchase bolt-in or snap-in hardware for installation on any point.
