Restore the ride height and handling of your monster truck with this genuine Shock Spring Set. This pack includes 4 replacement springs designed specifically for the massive aluminum "Big Bore" shocks found on the Redcat Kaiju.
Over time, springs can "sag" (lose their tension) from the weight of the truck sitting on the shelf, or from repeated heavy landings. If your chassis is slapping the ground too easily or the truck won't rebound to its proper ride height, a fresh set of springs is the fix.

Installation Advice
Setting Ride Height: Simply swapping the springs isn't enough; you have to set the "Pre-Load" using the threaded collar on the shock body.
-
The Goal: With the truck fully loaded (batteries installed) and sitting on a flat surface, the driveshafts should be roughly level (parallel to the ground).
-
Too Low: If the shafts angle upwards (chassis dragging), spin the collar down to compress the spring more.
-
Too High: If the shafts angle downwards steep, spin the collar up. A truck that sits too high will traction roll (flip over) in every corner.
