Whether you rolled your truck down a rocky cliff and cracked the original shell, or you just want to change the color of your Blue or Grey truck to Red, this body comes ready to mount. It features the signature Ascent-18 "dove-tailed" design, which tapers at the front and rear to prevent the tires from rubbing during extreme articulation.

Note: This is typically the Lexan Shell Only. It does not usually include the internal plastic cage/hinge frame or LED light buckets unless specified as a "Complete Body Assembly".
Installation Advice
The "Cage Swap": The Ascent-18 uses a hinged body system with an internal plastic structure/roll cage.

Don't Throw Away the Old One: You will likely need to unscrew the plastic roll cage, hinge mount, and LED light buckets from your old broken body.

Transfer: Install these plastic parts onto the new Red body. The holes are pre-drilled (or dimpled) to match the factory cage mounting points.

LEDs: Be careful when peeling the LED lights off the old body (if they are taped) or unscrewing the buckets, as the wires are thin.
