QA1’s 7Q Series rebuildable twin tube shocks deliver the performance, consistency, and tunability that racers demand. Formerly known as the 70 Series, these small-body bearing mount shocks are available in 6” and 7” lengths, offering versatility to fit various rules and applications. The twin tube design provides exceptional track surface feedback, making these shocks an ideal choice for asphalt and dry slick dirt tracks.
Engineered with attention to detail, the 7Q Series features a black zinc coating that ensures a consistent finish and a tight seal, every time. The high-quality raw aluminum pistons minimize the variations that can occur with anodized parts, while the ability to valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds maximizes tunability.
Offering the proven performance of QA1’s larger shocks in a more compact design, the 7Q Series is perfect for lightweight classes or applications where space is limited. These shocks can be re-valved and rebuilt in just minutes using basic tools and available kits. The gland includes relief cuts and a hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding, and the upgraded seal kit helps minimize leaks, especially in high-rebound situations. The slip fit design of the compression tube simplifies rebuilds, and a laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read at the track or in the shop.
The QA1 7Q Series steel small body shocks are also coil-over compatible when used with the appropriate kits, which are sold separately.
