The QA1 26 Series shock is a versatile one-piece monotube shock designed to excel under various track conditions, making it an ideal traction shock for a wide range of racing applications. Constructed with a durable 2" O.D. zinc-plated steel body, this shock offers excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance. The 26 Series shock is engineered with deflective disc valving and is available in linear, digressive, or linear/digressive configurations, allowing racers to fine-tune their setup for specific track conditions. Depending on the application, it comes with Hyperscrew, sealed Hyperscrew (IMCA legal), or Schrader valve configurations. The Hyperscrew-equipped shocks feature a threaded port near the bearing end, sealed with an O-ring screw, maintaining nitrogen gas pressure within the shock. This pressure is adjustable only by QA1 and QA1 Authorized Rebuilders in compliance with sanctioning body and track rules.
For those needing quick adjustments, the Schrader valve configuration provides the flexibility to modify gas pressure easily, much like adding air to car tires, allowing "on-the-fly" adjustments between heats and features to adapt to changing track conditions. The 46mm piston offers maximum car control at all shaft velocities, contributing to consistent handling and performance.
