MSD's high-performance distributor expertise is condensed into a specialized compact housing designed to minimize intrusion for Ford engines. The unique cap and housing have a 5/8" smaller diameter than standard Ford distributors, providing additional space in front of the engine. The new MSD cap boasts spark plug-style terminals and securely screws down to the housing.
\n\nThis distributor relies on MSD's race-proven magnetic pickup and precision reluctor, delivering accurate trigger signals to the MSD Ignition even at high RPMs. The reluctor assembly, turned by a hardened steel shaft, rides in a sealed ball bearing, ensuring stability and endurance at high RPMs.
\n\nMounted atop this shaft is a fully adjustable mechanical advance assembly. The chromoly assembly's timing advancement rate is easily controlled by modifying the supplied advance springs and stop bushings for comprehensive advance.
