This Blaster Coil comes complete with a ballast resistor. When using a points distributor in your application, the ballast is essential. However, if you have a late-model electronic ignition or an MSD Ignition, the ballast is not required.

Our Blaster Coils are meticulously designed for improved spark output, featuring special 100:1 windings for maximum voltage build-up. These windings are securely housed and maintained at an optimal temperature within an oil-filled metal canister.
