A magnetic pickup, situated in the lower base of the generator, meticulously triggers the eight precision paddles on the reluctor. Unlike weak and imprecise points, this pickup excels in accuracy and requires no adjustments or replacements. Rotating on a 0.500-inch shaft with sealed ball bearings, the assembly ensures enduring performance.
Upon triggering, the signal journeys to the Electronic Points Box, where spark duration is expertly controlled and directed to the 44's Coil. Each coil winding, meticulously crafted with over a pound of hand-wound copper wire, ensures precision. The voltage undergoes immediate amplification before accurately distributing to the correct spark plugs through the mag's cap, maximizing the explosion of heat and energy within the cylinder.
