Secure the wheels of your 1/28 scale racer with these premium Aluminum Lock Nuts. Designed specifically for the Kyosho Mini-Z and similar micro-scale chassis, these nuts replace the standard plastic wheel nuts that often crack or loosen during a race.
While the stock plastic nuts are light, they wear out quickly. These Marka Racing nuts offer the durability of metal while remaining incredibly lightweight to keep your rotating mass low for maximum acceleration.
Key Features
-
Self-Locking Design: Features a dedicated Nylon Insert inside the nut. This grips the threaded axle tightly, preventing the nut from vibrating loose even during high-speed racing or impacts.
-
Lightweight Aluminum: CNC machined from high-grade aluminum. In the Mini-Z class, reducing "rotating mass" is critical for motor punch and braking efficiency. These are significantly lighter than steel alternatives.
-
Anodized Black: Finished in a sleek black coating to match most wheel designs or provide a stealth look to your chassis.
-
Flanged Base: The integrated flange acts as a washer, distributing pressure evenly across the wheel center to prevent cracking delicate plastic rims.
Compatibility
-
Universal 1/28 Fit: Fits virtually any micro-car using a 2mm Threaded Axle.

Installation Advice
The "Free Spin" Test: When installing lock nuts on a Mini-Z:
-
Tighten: Tighten the nut until it touches the wheel.
-
Back Off: Once it touches, back it off roughly 1/8th to 1/4 of a turn.
-
Spin: Flick the wheel with your finger. It should spin freely for several seconds. If it stops immediately, the nut is pinching the bearing. Loosen it slightly more.
-
Note: The Nylon insert provides the grip, so you don't need to crank the nut down hard against the wheel to keep it safe.
