The K1 GTX-1 racing shoe was developed in cooperation with top pro’s from the K1 Athlete program. The feedback from this development program has enabled K1 to incorporate unique features in this shoe to make it a universal choice for drivers across multiple segments of Motorsports. The GTX-1 is a mid-top design constructed with soft calf skin leather and strategically placed perforated vents for superior comfort and breathability. The lightweight, pre-formed rubber sole is designed to offer drivers excellent pedal feel without sacrificing durability. An integrated Achilles Flex Zone allows for unimpeded mobility and maximum comfort. Another feature of the GTX-1 is K1's full canopy tongue that is strategically attached to the inner base on each side of the shoe, wraps the entire surface area of the driver’s foot and is lined with soft knit Nomex. This unique feature ensures the safety of the driver’s feet as well as keeping the inside of the shoe clear of all dirt and debris.
