The K&N 63-1145 AirCharger air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing in select Honda Talon models. By smoothing and straightening airflow, this system allows your engine to breathe in a greater volume of air than the stock assembly, resulting in enhanced power and acceleration across the entire RPM range.
This intake system features a K&N high-flow air filter, housed within an enclosed filter housing for protection against the elements. Air is channeled through a free-flowing aluminum intake tube into the engine's throttle body, providing a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The oversized cone-shaped air filter is designed for long-lasting performance, capable of up to 100,000 miles of use before requiring servicing, depending on driving conditions.
Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in 90 minutes or less using a ratchet set, a few wrenches, and a flat blade screwdriver. However, this air intake is not legal for sale or use in California or states following California's emissions standards.
