JOES Throttle Pedal Assembly is designed to give you the flexibility you need to get the input from your foot to your carburetor or injection. Our Bell Crank is splined and has multiple holes in the arms so you can get the perfect ratio for smooth acceleration. Combined with the JOES Aluminum Throttle Pedal Assembly & Pull Back and you have a complete system from floor to carburetor. Welding is required to align the plate on the Bell Crank to your firewall. Includes one 23″ throttle rod and one 34″ throttle rod. Each rod has left hand threads tapped in one end. Simply cut the right hand side to the proper length for your application, tap the new cut end and your links are complete.
The 33720-B is designed to eliminate the "mushy" feel common with stock or stamped-steel pedals. CNC-machined from high-strength billet aluminum, this pedal assembly provides a rock-solid feel that translates the driver's input directly to the carburetor or throttle body. The kit is highly adjustable, allowing the racer to customize the pedal angle and travel to match their specific seating position and foot size.
Detailed Technical Specifications
1. Precision Billet Engineering
-
Billet Aluminum Construction: Machined for maximum rigidity to prevent pedal flex under heavy-footed "panic" throttle applications.
-
Black Anodized Finish: Provides superior corrosion resistance and a non-reflective surface that looks professional in any cockpit.
-
Lightweight Design: Focused on reducing overall vehicle weight without sacrificing the structural integrity needed for a primary control interface.
2. Adjustable Ergonomics
-
Variable Pedal Ratio: Features multiple mounting holes on the linkage arm, allowing the driver to adjust the "ratio" of the pedal—choosing between a shorter, faster throw or a longer, more precise throttle modulation.
-
Toe-Hook Feature: Includes a built-in toe-hook, a critical safety feature in racing that allows the driver to manually pull the throttle back if the return spring fails or the linkage binds.
-
Textured Face: The pedal surface is designed to provide maximum grip for racing shoes, ensuring no-slip operation even in dusty or muddy conditions.
3. Installation & Compatibility
-
Universal Linkage Hookup: Designed to work seamlessly with standard 10-32 or 1/4" throttle cables and rod ends.
-
Smooth Pivot Action: Utilizes high-quality bushings or bearings at the pivot point to ensure a "butter-smooth" feel with zero side-to-side play.
-
Compact Footprint: Engineered to fit into the cramped footwells of modern racing chassis without interfering with the brake pedal or steering column.
