The revolutionary HydraMat® from Holley represents a groundbreaking solution to the challenges associated with conventional fuel pick-ups in both standard fuel tanks and high-performance racing fuel cells. Traditional setups suffer from issues during hard cornering, acceleration, braking, inclines, and low fuel conditions, causing fuel to move away from the pick-up and introducing air into the system, leading to engine performance problems and potential stalling. The HydraMat is the remedy for these issues.

The HydraMat leverages the principles of surface tension and fluid wicking to achieve an exceptional ability to draw fuel from almost any area in contact with it and store it in its internal reservoir. When an area of the HydraMat is exposed, the minute pores in the media seal off through surface tension, confining fuel in the reservoir and allowing it to be drawn from other sections of the mat where fuel remains accessible. The expansive size and coverage of the HydraMat enable it to extract fuel from virtually any part of the tank or cell, eliminating the need for specialized reservoirs and pick-up pumps. This not only saves costs but also significantly reduces system complexity.
