Holley has once again set a new standard with the release of the VR1 Brushless Fuel Pump Quick Kits, allowing you to customize your own fuel system to suit your specific needs. The 12-767 kit comprises a fuel pump, harness, and a 2-step controller, while the 12-768 adds an extra 26-163 Bulkhead harness to assist in system assembly.
Equipped with brushless pump technology and a twin screw rotor design, the VR1 fuel pumps deliver high pressures and flows with a low amperage draw and quiet operation. These pumps are designed for use in high-boosted race cars and weekend endurance vehicles running on gasoline, methanol, and E-85* (compatible for methanol and E85 for competitive drag race use only, with draining and flushing required after each race event). The pumps can maintain pressures of 130 PSI and flow rates of up to 335 GPH**.
The pumps feature a 2-step controller for pump speed control, allowing for operation at either low speed for reduced fuel consumption or full speed for higher fuel consumption. The VR2 model includes two controllers for precise control of each pump independently. Both VR1 and VR2 pumps are proven to be compatible with 18.5V systems.
