The surface must be dry and grease, wax and oil free. Use Dupli-Color prep products to clean the surface. All rust and corrosion must be removed prior to painting, The surface must also be scuffed if is it glossy. Paint will not bond to a glossy surface. Mask off any surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Always use a drop cloth or plastic under the paint project. - Application
Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. The recommended application conditions are 55°F and 75°F (13°C and 25°C) with the humidity less than 60%. (optional) Apply 2 light coats of CP199 DupliColor® Adhesion Promoter over plastic surfaces for maximum adhesion and protection prior to the color coat. Shake can vigorously for two minutes after mixing ball moves freely and 10 seconds after each minute of use. To spray, hold can parallel and 8–10 inches from the surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2–3 light coats or until surface is evenly coated. - Clean Up Disposal
