How To Use
- Usage
Engine Blocks, Air Cleaners, Oil Pans, Valve Covers, Water Pans, Intake Manifolds and other Engine Accessories. - Prep
Prepare surface by removing dirt, wax, and grease using a quality grease and wax remover. Scuff sand the surface with a scuff pad for maximum adhesion. Rinse well and dry with a clean dry cloth. Mask off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. - Application
To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats followed by one medium wet coat. Allow 10 minutes between coats. Apply all coats within 1 hour. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours. For additional protection once Engine Enamel color coats are complete, apply Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Clearcoat within one hour. Apply Engine Enamel Clearcoat according to application instructions on the can. - Clean Up Disposal
