Proper Break-In Procedure:
Driven GP-1 Break-In oil is formulated with high ZDDP levels (typically 2,800-3,000 ppm) and low detergent content, allowing the ZDDP to adhere to critical wear surfaces without interference. To ensure optimal results, follow these steps: run the break-in oil for the first 30 minutes, change the filter and oil to flush out wear metals and assembly lubricants, then continue running for approximately 400 miles before switching to your usual Driven Racing Oil.
