As LS engines continue to gain widespread popularity, COMP Cams® has broadened its range of rocker arms to introduce components tailored specifically for LS applications. The newly developed Ultra Pro Magnum™ Rockers are crafted from investment-cast 8650 chromemoly steel, featuring upgraded trunnions and needle bearings over stock components, resulting in enhanced strength, stiffness, and durability. These rockers boast a 1.8 ratio, surpassing the stock rockers' 1.7, and employ a roller tip instead of a slider. The elevated ratio and increased stiffness make them an excellent choice for boosting lift without necessitating cam changes.
The heightened stiffness, along with the improved trunnion package and roller wheel, makes these rockers an ideal selection when utilizing aftermarket valve springs. Additionally, they are available in both a bolt-on design compatible with stock rocker stands and a stud-mount version, catering to those employing mechanical lifters. Note that pushrods are not included in the kits but can be obtained separately.
