Specifically configured for 2-speed Powerglide transmissions, this race shifter boasts a myriad of features. Crafted from a solid seven-pound block of 6061-T6 aluminum, the Pro Bandit shifter showcases precision CNC machined construction. The ergonomically shaped Magnum Grip shift handle, featuring replaceable side grip plates with a polished and matte finish, ensures both style and comfort.
Meeting NHRA/IHRA safety rules, the reverse lockout adds an extra layer of safety. Compatible with forward or reverse pattern valve bodies, the shifter seamlessly controls 2, 3, and 4-speed automatic transmissions, achieved by straightforwardly replacing the hardened steel gate plate, bracket, and lever (bracket and cable not included). Additional features include the Powerglide Pro Lever, cable quick disconnect extension, and a built-in mounting location for an optional CO2 shift cylinder #80883 or an electric shift solenoid for P/G applications.
Facilitating a hassle-free installation, the shifter comes with comprehensive instructions. Optional accessories like gate plates, cable brackets, lever kits, and side grip plates with or without 12V momentary buttons are available separately. The shifter's overall dimensions are 10L x 1.3W x 9.3H.
