B&M 68-69 Chevy Camaro Automatic Ratchet Shifter - Quicksilver Console

Specifically designed to seamlessly integrate into the factory console of your 1968-69 Camaro, this console model features a trigger-less shift handle design. In Park, simply lift the handle, pull back, and let it drop past Reverse. Once out of Park, there's no need to lift the handle until you reach Reverse or Park. Shifting from Drive involves lifting the handle straight up, bypassing the reverse lockout safety feature, and then moving it forward into Reverse or Park.

The reverse lockout adheres to NHRA and IHRA safety regulations, preventing accidental over-shifting into reverse during drag strip passes. At the strip, engage the ratcheting function by shifting into low gear, launching the vehicle, and hitting the shifter forward for precise and error-free gear shifts. The chrome bezel, shift stick, and knob are complemented by the black "slit" style boot and deep blue medallion, imparting classic muscle car style to your first-gen Camaro. The shifter also includes a lighted gear position indicator, a micro-switch for back-up lights, and a neutral safety switch to prevent accidental starts when in gear. Utilizing the factory shift cable, this shifter comes with all necessary hardware, detailed instructions, and components for a hassle-free at-home installation.

Compatible with TH350, TH400, 700R4, 200R4, and 4L60 transmissions right out of the box. Note: 4L60E - 4L80E transmissions with PRNDL switch will require installation kit #75498 (without PRNDL switch use #35498) and 5-ft shift cable #80605.
