Equipped with a trigger-activated reverse gate release function (lacking a reverse lockout to meet NHRA/IHRA safety rules), the Street Bandit is compatible with both forward and reverse pattern valve bodies. It effortlessly controls 2, 3, and 4-speed automatic transmissions by merely swapping out the hardened steel gate plate and the applicable brackets and levers. The package includes a 4-foot Super Duty shift cable, rear cable exit, chrome shifter bracket, back-up light switch, neutral safety switch, cable brackets, and levers for most popular brands of 3-speed auto transmissions.
Detailed instructions are included for a hassle-free installation. Optional gate plates, cable brackets, lever kits, and side grip plates, both with and without 12V momentary buttons, are available separately.
