The reverse lockout adheres to NHRA and IHRA safety regulations, preventing accidental shifts into reverse during strip passes. For ratcheting function at the strip, shift into low gear, launch the vehicle, and hit the shifter forward when it's time to shift – ensuring you never miss a gear. The chrome bezel, shift stick, and knob, complemented by the black console, flat boot, and deep blue medallion, add classic muscle car style to your vehicle's interior. The shifter includes a lighted gear position indicator, a micro-switch for back-up lights, and a neutral safety switch to prevent accidental starts when in gear.
