aFe ensures a seamless installation by utilizing the factory mounting locations. This kit includes high-quality stainless steel clamps and robust 5-Ply polyester-reinforced couplings for exceptional strength and durability. Moreover, it comes with two billet aluminum factory-style quick-connect adaptors that seamlessly interface with the factory intercooler, guaranteeing a perfect seal.
Flow and Performance: aFe POWER intercooler tubes are meticulously crafted from 2-1/2" (Hot Side) and 3" (Cold Side) mandrel-bent aluminum tubing to optimize flow, and then they're coated with a high-temp wrinkle-black finish, adding an aesthetically pleasing touch. This powder coating also acts as insulation against engine heat and safeguards the tubes from corrosion. The smooth transition bends significantly reduce turbulence, minimize pressure loss, and simultaneously boost horsepower and torque. Additionally, each tube includes one 1/8" NPT port, designed for a sensor or water-methanol injection.
Laser-Cut Badging: To enhance the overall style, aFe incorporates a unique laser-cut aFe Power logo plate, welded onto the tubes, for an aggressive and distinctive look.
