The B&M® Transpak represents the advanced evolution beyond the B&M Shift Improver kit, encompassing all its features and providing additional manual control for drivers (specifically for GM TH-400, 350, Ford C-6, and Chrysler Torqueflite). This B&M® Transpak™ kit is designed for 1980-1986 GM TH350C (Lockup) automatic transmissions. Standard automatic transmissions often lack the ability to downshift into low gear above 15 mph and tend to upshift automatically at predetermined speeds, irrespective of the current gear. The Transpak empowers you to downshift at any speed and hold the transmission in first gear as desired, offering a valuable advantage for modified engines, towing trailers, or navigating downhill with heavy loads. Stage 1, Heavy Duty, is ideal for street rods, standard passenger vehicles, or other heavy-duty applications, providing a firmer shift feel without harshness. It significantly enhances transmission performance and lifespan without sacrificing comfort, offering normal automatic operation when in Drive. Stage 2, designed for Hi-Performance street use, mirrors Heavy Duty mode but with much quicker shifts, retaining full automatic features and standard shift points with the selector in Drive. Note: This kit does not fit 1968-1980 GM TH350 (non-Lock-up) transmissions.
