Introducing the DV+ Upgrade for Mini, Citroën, and Peugeot Models!

GFB's DV+ offers a simple yet transformative solution. It preserves the factory solenoid coil for seamless integration, replacing weak plastic valve components with robust metal parts for enhanced reliability and strength on chipped engines. This direct-fit replacement also leverages GFB's TMS benefits and features an exclusive "pilot-actuated" valve mechanism for rapid responses at high boost levels.

GFB expands its DV+ range to address the underwhelming factory diverter valve commonly found in European vehicles.

The factory-fitted solenoid coil is quick to respond, which is why GFB retains it. However, the weakness lies in the valve mechanism. GFB's DV+ overcomes this challenge by substituting valve parts with an anodized billet aluminum housing and a precision-machined brass piston.

The result is sharper throttle responses, rapid valve actuation, and the ability to handle substantial boost pressures. For more details, read below.

In contrast to other manufacturers' products that involve replacing the entire system with a traditional pneumatic valve, GFB's DV+ is more responsive, cost-effective, easier to install, and doesn't induce compressor surge or turbo flutter. Moreover, it doesn't require different springs or frequent rebuilds.

Many modern European cars use ECU-controlled solenoid-type diverter valves, which respond quickly and open only when necessary. However, these valves have their problems:

  1. The diaphragms can rupture, particularly with increased boost, causing the valve to lose its ability to maintain boost pressure.
  2. The thin plastic lip around the diaphragm can break, potentially sending fragments into the turbo.
  3. The OE diverter's solenoid is directly linked to the valve mechanism, but neither is robust enough to reliably open and close the valve under high boost conditions.

This explains why some aftermarket manufacturers opt for a complete factory diverter replacement or a transition to a purely pneumatic system. Unfortunately, their solutions are often slower, less responsive, and more complex, making them more of a compromise than a true solution.

GFB takes a different approach, offering a comprehensive solution that resolves existing problems and enhances performance without compromise or a hefty price tag.

The DV+ addresses factory valve issues by retaining the factory solenoid while replacing valve components with robust metal parts, ensuring strength and reliability, regardless of the boost level.

Additionally, the DV+ introduces a "pilot-actuation" system, whereby the solenoid controls airflow through a small passage to open and close the piston, rather than directly moving the piston. This ensures reliable operation regardless of the boost level and provides better throttle response by progressively opening the valve in response to boost pressure.

Don't settle for compromises – choose the complete solution with GFB's DV+!
