GFB's DV+ Solution: Simple Excellence - Keep What Works, Replace What Doesn't.

Retains the factory solenoid coil for seamless integration. Replaces fragile plastic valve components with robust metal parts, ensuring reliability and strength, even on tuned engines. Direct-fit replacement, enhanced with GFB's TMS advantages. Incorporates an exclusive "pilot-actuated" valve mechanism for rapid responses at high boost levels.

GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit remedy for the weak factory diverter valve commonly used in various European vehicles.

While the solenoid coil in the factory-fitted valve is commendable, opening faster than any pneumatic valve, the Achilles' heel lies in the valve mechanism itself. GFB's DV+ ingeniously tackles this issue by exclusively replacing the valve components with an anodized billet aluminum housing equipped with a precisely machined brass piston.

The outcome? Sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and the capacity to handle an abundance of boost pressure. For the complete DV+ story, read on.

Contrast this with other manufacturers' products that necessitate a complete system replacement with a traditional pneumatic valve. This approach demands long vacuum hose setups, additional components to tap into the intake manifold vacuum, and either a different solenoid valve for pneumatic valve actuation or a ballast resistor to integrate into the OE wiring loom. All these extras culminate in a product that's slower, less responsive, more costly, and time-consuming to install.

GFB's DV+ solution, in contrast, offers improved responsiveness, affordability, ease of installation, and eliminates compressor surge and turbo flutter. Moreover, it negates the need for different springs or frequent rebuilds.

The DV+ Story: Enhanced Performance, Enhanced Reliability

Many late-model European cars feature ECU-controlled solenoid-type diverter valves – a good concept because the valve can react quickly and opens only when necessary.

However, these valves have their issues. There are typically two types of solenoid-actuated diverter valves found standard on VAG and European cars, both with their shortcomings:

Common OE Problem #1: Diaphragm types are prone to rupture, especially with increased boost and temperature due to chip tuning.

Common OE Problem #2: The plastic piston-type often leaks more than people realize (by design, not from wear), and doesn't always close after a high-boost gear shift.

In both cases, the OE diverter's solenoid is directly connected to the valve mechanism, which is less than ideal, as neither the solenoid nor the return spring are robust enough to open and close the valve reliably under high boost conditions.

Given these issues, other aftermarket manufacturers often opt for a complete replacement of the factory diverter valve. Unfortunately, while their replacement kits may be sturdier, they suffer from slower response and reduced flow, making them more of a compromise than a genuine solution.

GFB has taken a different approach, offering a complete solution that rectifies existing problems, enhances performance, and maintains affordability.

The DV+ addresses factory valve issues elegantly. By retaining the factory solenoid, it preserves the benefits of the stock system, while replacing valve components with indestructible metal components ensures strength and reliability, regardless of the boost level.

But that's not all. Instead of the solenoid directly actuating the valve, GFB introduces a unique "pilot-actuation" system. This means the solenoid controls the air pressure used to open and close the piston. Consequently, no matter how much boost pressure is applied, the DV+ opens and closes reliably without exceeding the solenoid's capacity.

This feature also improves upon the factory system by progressively opening the valve in response to boost pressure, ensuring it opens only as much as needed to get the job done. The factory valve, in contrast, operates in a binary manner, incapable of partially opening if boost pressure is low, resulting in superior throttle response.

Don't settle for compromise – choose GFB's DV+ for a complete, uncompromised solution.
