The Stage 1 system combines the formidable Whipple Mega Cooler, roto-molded high-velocity cold air intake, and industry-leading custom calibration to unlock astonishing performance gains. Experience an incredible increase of up to 125 foot-pounds of torque and 60 horsepower over stock. At 3500rpm, the system generates over 150 foot-pounds of torque more than stock, providing enhanced power throughout the RPM range for unparalleled throttle response.
Key to the system's performance is the Whipple Monster Cooler, offering 54% greater volume and 8% more surface area than the stock unit. Featuring a bar-and-plate design with offset fins on both the cold and hot sides, the Monster Cooler provides increased cooling capacity while surpassing the stock cooler's performance. Testing demonstrates a remarkable 90-degree Fahrenheit drop in temperature on the dyno, with even greater gains observed during real-world applications. The cooler air allows for increased spark advance and oxygen to the engine, resulting in enhanced power output while maintaining safety.
The Whipple high-velocity air intake system boasts CAD-driven, CFD-modeled rotor-molded plastic construction, maximizing airspeed while minimizing inlet restrictions. Equipped with a velocity stack gauze filter featuring extra-wide pleats, it flows over 132% more air than a stock paper filter, ensuring optimal engine performance.
