Our innovative design relocates the intercooler to the upper grille, providing enhanced clearance and improving both entry and exit angles. This positioning also protects your intercooler from trail obstacles and frees up space in your front bumper for essential off-road accessories, like winches. We've included custom ducting to ensure optimal airflow through the intercooler in its new location.

Constructed with a 3.1-inch-thick core and precision TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks, the Mishimoto High-Mount Intercooler offers significantly improved durability against heat, pressure, and road debris compared to the factory tube-and-fin intercooler.

But it’s not just about durability—this intercooler enhances performance too. With a 49-percent increase in core volume and a 93-percent increase in external fin surface area, you can expect a reduction in outlet temperatures by 21 degrees (for the 2.3L EcoBoost) and 15.5 degrees (for the 2.7L EcoBoost) over stock. This results in performance gains of 4.5 hp and 10.8 lb-ft of torque for the 2.3L EcoBoost, and 8.0 hp and 10.2 lb-ft of torque for the 2.7L EcoBoost. Our extensive trail simulation heat-soak testing showcased the effectiveness of this intercooler, demonstrating outlet temperatures 20 degrees cooler than stock after six back-to-back dyno runs.
