The Garrett PowerMax™ Stage 1 turbocharger kit is engineered to enhance the performance of Chevy and GMC Duramax engines. Featuring the patented Advanced Variable Nozzle Turbine (AVNT™) design, this turbocharger increases both compressor and turbine flow. The GT Series wheel design ensures optimal performance, reduces back pressure, and lowers intake and exhaust gas temperatures. The nine movable vanes significantly boost turbine efficiency, improving engine performance from idle to peak torque. The patented integral electro-hydraulic actuation and proportional solenoid provide infinitely variable control. This turbocharger is suitable as a performance upgrade or a replacement for original equipment, and it is outline interchangeable with the OE turbo for a perfect fit every time.

The Garrett PowerMax™ Stage 2 turbocharger kit builds upon the Stage 1 enhancements with additional features for even greater performance. Utilizing the same Advanced Variable Nozzle Turbine (AVNT™) design, the Stage 2 upgrade offers increased compressor and turbine flow. The larger compressor trim (52) and GT40 turbine wheel and vanes further enhance efficiency and performance. Like the Stage 1, this upgrade uses nine movable vanes to boost turbine efficiency and improve engine performance across all operating conditions. The patented integral electro-hydraulic actuation and proportional solenoid allow for precise control. This turbocharger is also outline interchangeable with the OE turbo for a perfect fit every time.
