Unique One-Piece High-Quality Housing with Inspection Window: This specialized roto-molded housing, meticulously designed via computer-aided design (CAD), is crafted from heat-resistant material that eliminates the need for multiple components. It ensures the intake charge remains at the coolest possible temperature. A generously sized, clear inspection window allows you to check the filter without disassembling the airbox. The housing is constructed from durable black cross-linked polyethylene. Additionally, a urethane plug is provided if you wish to completely seal the auxiliary air inlet.
High-Quality Tube: This system features a high-quality plastic intake tube, also designed using CAD and optimized through dyno testing. The roto-molded tube ensures maximum power gains while maintaining a precise fit. Furthermore, it includes a high-quality billet aluminum crankcase fitting for easy installation. The tube is equipped with a built-in resonance chamber to mitigate unwanted air intake noises.
High-Quality Scoop: A meticulously designed CAD air scoop is included to guide cool ambient air to the performance air filter.
Large 5-Layer Performance Air Filter: The Momentum GT intake system was engineered to accommodate the largest filter available to maximize performance and filtration. This cylindrical filter boasts a large oval flange (6-3/4" x 4-3/4") and stands at 9 inches tall with an inverted top. The Pro 5R performance air filter is constructed with five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media that is oiled and features a 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
Premium Hardware: To ensure strength and durability, premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a reinforced silicone elbow coupling are used, providing a secure installation. Momentum intakes are designed with simplicity in mind, utilizing fewer parts to facilitate a quick and straightforward installation.
