For any vehicle with a brush-style pump, Aeromotive's Fuel Pump Speed Controller (FPSC) is the solution to minimize fuel heating and prevent vapor-lock issues. It accomplishes this by synchronizing the fuel pump's duty cycle with engine RPM. When the demand for fuel is low, the FPSC reduces the pump's speed, reducing the risk of suction-side cavitation and vapor lock. As demand increases, the FPSC promptly restores the fuel pump to a 100% duty cycle for maximum flow. Think of it as an automatic transmission for your fuel pump.

LED indicators are included to ensure the correct ignition signal connection, confirm the manual override circuit's activation, and indicate when the circuit is supplying full voltage to the pump. It's important to avoid any device that decreases voltage to your fuel pump, as low voltage can damage a 12V DC motor. Rest assured, the Aeromotive FPSC doesn't reduce voltage. Instead, it emits a harmless pulse modulation signal that won't harm the pump's motor.

This FPSC employs a solid-state transistor circuit, capable of handling up to 40 amps, to replace the relays typically used in most fuel pump electrical circuits. You can adjust the full-speed RPM threshold according to your needs. The FPSC's housing is constructed from billet 6061-T651 aircraft aluminum and boasts a sleek bright-dip black anodized finish.
