The Stage 1 system combines the formidable Whipple Mega Cooler, roto-molded high-velocity cold air intake, and industry-leading custom calibration to unlock extraordinary performance gains. On the Raptor, this translates to a remarkable increase of 130 foot-pounds of torque and 90 horsepower over stock, while the F150 3.5L sees gains of over 130 foot-pounds of torque and 100 horsepower. Impressively, at 3500rpm, the system generates over 150 foot-pounds of torque more than stock, delivering enhanced power throughout the RPM range for unmatched throttle response.
Key to the system's performance is the Whipple Monster Cooler, offering 54% greater volume and 8% more surface area than the stock unit. Featuring a bar-and-plate design with offset fin technology on both the cold and hot sides, the Monster Cooler provides increased cooling capacity while surpassing the stock cooler's performance. Testing demonstrates a significant 60-degree Fahrenheit drop in temperature on the dyno, with even greater gains observed during real-world applications. The cooler air allows for increased spark advance and oxygen to the engine, resulting in enhanced power output while maintaining safety.
