TCI® Lightweight Aluminum Transmission Shields are designed to provide robust protection in the event of a drum explosion, fitting securely over the transmission body. All shields are SFI 4.1 certified and accepted by major sanctioning bodies for racing applications. It's important to note that the SFI certification expires five years from the date of manufacture, and units can be sent back to TCI® for re-certification.
Please be aware that trimming to fit the transmission may be necessary, and any modifications to the shield will void the SFI certification.
These shields are manufactured from strong 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, offering durability without excess weight. The shields come powder-coated in Blue for resistance against fluid and fade, and they include all necessary mounting hardware for a quick and secure installation.
