Many 4L60E and 700R4 transmissions typically feature just six clutch plates in the 3-4 pack. This upgrade expands the clutch pack to nine without requiring any drum machining or modifications. It enhances the life of the 3-4 clutch and improves the quality of the 2nd to 3rd shift. The package includes eight Kolene-treated steels and nine high-performance frictions.
