The competition valve body is designed to deliver peak performance and achieve rapid elapsed times in racing applications. By exclusively controlling the valve body manually, we can achieve faster shift timing and operate at higher line pressures compared to automatic shift transmissions. Elevated line pressure enhances resistance to clutch slippage under high loads. It's important to note that with a full manual setup, every shift must be executed manually, as these units do not shift automatically. This makes them an excellent choice for bracket cars, monster trucks, and virtually any off-road competition vehicle where a transbrake is either not permitted or not preferred.
Compatible with GM TH400, 1965 & later, this valve body features a reverse shift pattern.
