The SC-500™ Spread Port Intake Compressor is a versatile and powerful tool designed for those who already have the compressor for exhausts and only need the intake compressor. This shaft mount compressor is ideal for off-set rocker systems with wide intake off-sets and narrow exhausts, including setups like the Brodix Big Duke, SR-20, Dart Big Chief, Edelbrock Big Victor, Pro-filer Hitman, Reher Morrison 12 Degree, and Brodix Head Hunter with moved centerlines.
The SC-500™ features a slotted shaft for centerlines ranging from 1.625" to 2.695" and has an overall length of 3.25", making it compatible with a wide range of high-performance applications. It's also suitable for Ford C460 intakes with T&D or Jesel rockers. For these setups, the SC-200™ is recommended for exhausts instead of the SC-501™.
All LSM on-head valve spring compressors, including the SC-500™, come equipped with a tapered flange retainer housing that accommodates springs from 0.800" to 1.600". They are engineered to easily and safely handle up to 1,000 pounds of seat pressure with a secure screw-down method that prevents backspin.
