COMP Cams introduces the Max-Lift BSR Shaft Rocker System, an innovative solution that enhances valve train dynamics, boosts stiffness, and minimizes deflection by connecting pairs of rocker arms. The utilization of a tri-layer bushing, as opposed to needle bearings, reduces deflection, promoting increased rigidity and decreased rocker pad wear.
The improved valve train stiffness achieved with the Max-Lift BSR Shaft Rocker System transforms a standard camshaft into a more powerful counterpart, as a greater portion of the lobe lift is efficiently transferred to the valve train. This minimizes absorption by deflection in the cylinder head and the single-bolt rocker mounting design. The system allows for the utilization of higher lift, more aggressive camshafts without compromising valve train control. Maintaining parallel alignment between the rocker pad and valve tip through the contact sweep, the Max-Lift BSR Shaft Rocker System ensures safe sweeping up to .675” valve lift.
Designed for GM GEN V LT1/LT2/LT4/LT5/L86* engines, the COMP Cams Max-Lift BSR Shaft Rocker System is shipped fully assembled, facilitating a straightforward and hassle-free bolt-on installation.
*Note: Not compatible with GM Gen V L83 (5.3L) cylinder heads.
