The Chase Bays Brake Line Relocation kit for the Lexus IS300 is meticulously designed for enthusiasts who aim to enhance their vehicle's braking performance while decluttering the engine bay. This innovative solution facilitates better brake line management and improves overall aesthetics by incorporating a range of functional upgrades.
Key Features
Practical Brake Line Tuck: This kit relocates the OEM brake hard lines in a much more efficient manner, often referred to as a Brake Line Tuck. By optimizing the routing of brake lines, this setup minimizes clutter and maximizes accessibility.
Adjustable Bias Valve: The factory proportioning valve/block is replaced with an Adjustable Bias Valve, allowing for fine-tuning of the brake bias for improved handling and braking performance tailored to your driving style.
ABS Deletion: For those looking to simplify their braking system, this kit facilitates the deletion of the ABS system, enhancing the responsiveness and feel of the brakes.
Compatibility with Different Master Cylinders: The relocation kit is designed to accommodate different master cylinder setups if necessary, ensuring versatility in various performance applications.
High-Quality Construction
The OEM brake hard lines are replaced with -3AN stainless steel braided lines that are Teflon PTFE lined and black PVC coated for superior durability and resistance to wear. Each line is crafted using the best components available in the industry and is pressure tested to guarantee a leak-free startup when installed correctly.
Optimized Routing Design
This kit keeps all brake lines contained within the engine bay, mounting the Adjustable Bias Valve securely to a master cylinder bolt. The routing is carefully designed to provide the cleanest look while remaining easy to install. The driver-to-passenger line runs low on the firewall just above the transmission and clamps onto existing studs on the firewall, ensuring a secure fit.
Plug and Play Front to Rear Lines
The front-to-rear line connections are designed to be plug and play, with a joining block situated low on the driver’s side firewall (almost under the car). The provided metric adapters thread into this block, connecting the two shortest lines to a tee fitting, from which a single line routes to the OUT side of the Bias Valve. Due to the tight fit near the IS300 steering column, it is recommended to secure this three-line assembly before installing it onto the vehicle.
