Designed with user flexibility in mind, all AEM digital gauges feature a 0-5v analog output compatible with data loggers and nearly any engine management system. Each gauge package includes black and silver bezels, as well as black and white faceplates, allowing for multiple color combinations and a customized aesthetic. Additional faceplate options include a black Lambda faceplate and black and white Air/Fuel Ratio faceplates.
At the heart of the gauge's speed and accuracy is the UEGO sensor, with the 4.9 LSU sensor utilized in the 30-4110 AEM Wideband UEGO AFR Controller Gauge. Notably, this sensor offers a faster light-off time and lower current draw compared to the 4.2 LSU sensor used in the previous 30-4100 model. The 4.9 LSU sensor shares the same fuel compatibility as the 4.2 LSU and requires no free-air calibration when paired with AEM's 30-4110 Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge. It's essential to note that the 4.9 LSU sensor and 4.2 LSU sensors are not interchangeable between the two gauge controllers, including connector compatibility.
